The Film Raro2 pacific paradise film challenge runs over 10 days from Thursday 3rd April to Saturday 12th April 2025.
The tropical paradise of the Cook Islands will be a buzz for 10 days as filmmakers from all over the world work with locals to produce short films to screen at the Film Raro2 International Film Festival.
You’re invited to be as much a part of this exciting and creative atmosphere as you like. Volunteer as cast and crew or just relax and enjoy the unique hospitality of the Cook Islands.
Then join us for the majestic Film Raro2 International Film Festival evening as the whole island comes together to view the premier screenings of our Film Raro2 shorts under tropical stars.

If you’re willing to pay for your trip and mix it with the locals for a real life experience, to help create a piece of cinematic history then we’re happy to have you on board as an official Film Raro2 crew member.
Sorry but there are a limited number of volunteers that we can cater to so – first in first served by emailing us to confirm at – travel@filmraro.com.
Volunteers will be asked to nominate the number of days they wish to be involved so we can add you to our production schedule. It can be as many or as few days as you want.
Our main production period is over 16 days with 9 days of film crew activity. The volunteer period runs from Saturday 29th March to Monday 14th April 2025.
